How do I customize my order?

Nearly all of our products can be customized just for YOU.  There should be a series of drop down menus and text boxes (if applicable) that can be completed prior to adding to your cart.  Please review all the listing photographs and item description for any Any additional requests can be left in the text box located on the checkout page.

Do you use real gemstones?

To keep our prices low, we use a combination of natural and lab-created gemstones.  We have natural labradorite, moonstone, quartz, chalcedony, and some citrine.  The other gemstones in our collection are typically dyed chalcedony, dyed quartz, or dyed corrundum (dyed ruby for July).  To be clear, these are natural stones which are dyed in a lab for consistency and brilliant color.  These are very durable and high quality stones.  We do not use any glass or plastic in our jewelry.

Please know that there may be slight differences in color or shape as each item is a handmade product. Stones such as labradorite, moonstone, and dyed ruby have natural inclusions and variations that make each unique.

What is your return & exchange policy?

Can this necklace or bracelet be added onto in the future?

Yes! Our jewelry can grow with your family. In most cases we do ask that the original item be returned to our shop and the additions purchased online. Once we receive the original item in our shop, it takes us 1-3 business days to process, add on the new charms, and give to USPS or UPS to mail. Return delivery times vary on location and shipping method purchased.

What metal do you work with?

925 Sterling Silver is our metal of choice.  All earrings, rings, chains, gemstone bezels, clasps, bars, disks and jump rings are this high quality 925 silver.  

14k gold-filled is used for our gold chains, engraved bars, and metal disks. Birthstone bezels, earrings, and rings are 18k vermeil gold (gold plating over sterling silver).

Some charms and designs are gold or rhodium plating over brass: stamped leaves, birds, hearts, branches, and adjustable bangles.

Do you include a receipt in the package?

Since many of our order are intended for gifts, unless otherwise requested, we do not include any pricing information within the package.  We do include a packing slip which details the customizations for the order, but no pricing is noted on this.

Can I include a gift message?

Yes, please let me know the message you'd like to include in the text box at the checkout page.  Please limit to 70 characters or less.

Is the jewelry shipped in a gift box?

All the jewelry is shipped in individual Danique Jewelry branded boxes.

How should I care for my Vermeil Gold jewelry?

Gold vermeil is a layer of gold over sterling silver and requires a little special care and attention. Always remove your gold vermeil jewelry when applying perfumes, lotions or cleansers. Never wear your gold vermeil jewelry in the shower or when swimming. Chlorine, especially at high temperatures, can permanently damage or discolor your gold vermeil jewelry. Gently clean your gold vermeil jewelry with a soft polishing cloth. Store vermeil jewelry in an airtight container when not in use.
